Days of fun and sun!

Juan's sister Mariposa and her husband Sandro came to see us for a few days. Scarlett loved getting to know her auntie and uncle! (Or Tio and Tia, depending on who you're asking!) We did lots of fun stuff, and given that it's June in the central valley, most of it revolved around water.

Uncle Joe and Aunt Shana let us use their pool while they were in Oregon:

On Saturday, the whole gang went up to the cabin at Camanche for a day of food, board games and playin' in the lake:

garage sale

Last Saturday we had a big Strassburg family garage sale! It was a lot of fun, not just because of the $$ but also for the hanging out! We've decided it's a new yearly tradition. Just one of the fun benefits of living around the corner from eachother...

And then we capped off the day with a fun BBQ at Jim and Alyssa's house!!

Scarlett's been kinda doing it for awhile now, but she can officially roll from back to stomach, and sometimes the other way if she's on an incline. (Which we count!)

Cereal.... yummmmmm!

Scarlett got her first taste of the world outside breast milk. I think she found it pretty tasty, but most of it ended up on her bib. Juan and I tried it and decided it wasn't anything worth getting excited over, but, hey, there's no accounting for taste!

She thiks her hand tastes pretty good too!

Convention days

Oh my gosh, I know I'm biased and everything... but do I have the world's cutest baby or what?

Well, it's been awhile... the biggest news here last month was our church convention! It was really nice to get away for five days and I had a really good time getting Scarlett all dressed up. She did great, sleeping in a tent trailer, better than I did! We also had a great time being almost "roomies" with Uncle Joe and Aunt Shana. Chloe and Scarlett have a new appreciation for eachother, I think!
